In this message Pastor John kicks off a new series we are titling Story Time. No doubt, many of us have memories of someone reading memorable stories to us. It’s also true that each of us has a story that connects us with others and, ultimately, the need we have to connect with God’s story in Christ. Jesus was the master storyteller who also loved to teach using stories (called parables). May the Holy Spirit give us ears that hear and understand the deeper meanings behind Jesus’ stories
Series Information
Jesus was a master storyteller. He used simple word pictures, in what we call parables, to teach profound spiritual lessons. The stories He told spoke of the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, persistence in prayer, humility, being ready for Christ’s return, handling God’s resources, and receiving God’s love, as well as many other topics.
