Living Out Our Vision

At Faith Oakville, our goal is to live out our mission and vision in our everyday lives – making disciples where we live, work, learn, and play. Jesus says, “Therefore go and make disciples…” Matthew 28:19, and this concept is at the forefront of everything we do at Faith. We believe there are mission fields everywhere - from our own neighborhoods to places much farther away. For those who like to venture farther away to serve the Lord, we offer a few mission trips every year.

MIDDLE SCHOOL MISSION TRIP

Completed 5th - 8th grade
Camp Wartburg
Dates: June 23 - 26
Cost: $275 per student

This summer we are returning to Camp Wartburg! We’ll head out on Sunday, June 23, and return on Wednesday, June 26. We will bless the camp with a service project, engage in devotions and prayer together, and spend time swimming, caving, playing games, and growing together! Space is limited! Register today to secure a spot.

HIGH SCHOOL MISSION TRIP

Completed 9th - 12th grade
Mexico, Missouri
July 21 - 27
Deposit: $50
Total Cost: $498 per student

This summer, we want you to be inspired and challenged to meet Jesus in a whole new way. The Mexico, Missouri, mission trip will be a combination of fun, teaching, and engaging interactive worship programs. We will help provide hope to this struggling community by constructing wheelchair ramps, painting, repairing steps, and completing other projects alongside 400+ students from all over the country! This trip will be a wonderful opportunity for great new experiences, connecting with other students, and growing in your relationship with Jesus. We’ll enjoy recreation and free time as well! Friends are welcome, so invite all of yours!

Men's Trip

Pine Ridge, SD
Dates: TBD
Cost: $700

Bring your Bible and tool belt and help build hope in a community that suffers from the highest poverty rate and lowest life expectancy in the country. Join us in Pine Ridge, South Dakota, and work side by side with Lakota men, share God’s love for them through devotions, and assist the reservation through community projects. Help bring the transforming power of the Gospel to the most addiction-afflicted part of the country. No skills are necessary, as God will provide each day.

STOMP OUT ADDICTION WALK

Alcohol and other drugs are a problem for our nation, our communities, and OUR FAMILIES. Many in our Oakville community have first-hand experience with this issue touching their lives. Faith hosts the Stomp Out Addiction Walk to bring awareness, education, and support to our community. Our prayer is that taking one step toward defeating addiction will make a huge impact!

Student / Young Adult Mission Trip

In May 2023, a group of students and young adults from Faith joined Casas Por Cristo's mission organization to build a home for the Hinojo Trevino family in Acuna, Mexico. This was a life-changing experience for many members of the team, and we plan to take another trip with Casas in 2025!
