Joining Jesus

Loving My Neighbor

It’s a statement lots of people have heard before: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” It is easily stated, but often difficult to do, right? It’s probably not common knowledge to realize this statement was made by Jesus as part of what has been called the Great Commandment (which is really two commandments)... Loving the Lord with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength... and loving your neighbor as yourself.” In a conversation with a specialist in religious law, Jesus illustrates what it looks like to love our neighbor through a story often called The Parable of the Good Samaritan. As we learn to Join Jesus on His Mission, let’s discover what it might look like for each of us to genuinely love our neighbors.

Series Information

God wants His people to truly become “laborers in God’s vineyard”. This five-week message series will focus on Greg Finke’s book Joining Jesus on His Mission, which will introduce the practices (or rhythms) of Joining Jesus on His Mission.
