Lost Sheep and a Lost Coin

“Who’s your one?” That’s a question you will be asked today by Pastor John. Jesus clearly valued, cared for, and sought to save “the one”. Actually, Jesus would have died for even “one” - yes, even if it was just for you! As we continue our message series on Jesus’ parables titled Story Time, we’re challenged to take on Jesus’ view of sin and the sinner, as well as catch a fresh glimpse of the enormity of God’s grace for the sinner.

Jesus was a master storyteller. He used simple word pictures, in what we call parables, to teach profound spiritual lessons. The stories He told spoke of the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, persistence in prayer, humility, being ready for Christ’s return, handling God’s resources, and receiving God’s love, as well as many other topics.
