1 Kings 19:9-18
In my vast pastoral experience (3 years), I’ve found that when people say they clearly and audibly heard God tell them something, the reaction from others is generally not, “Great! What did God tell you?” More often the unspoken reaction is, “WEIRDO! We got a crazy one here.” Our culture is naturally suspicious because God doesn’t seem to speak anymore, at least not in the way He did in the Bible. Is God still speaking, even today… and when I say today, I mean today, Sunday, January 12, 2020? Well, not to steal my own thunder, but yes, He is… even today.
