Hebrews 2:14-15
As we continue in our message series Letting Go of Fear today, we are talking about The Fear of Death. We need to talk about this topic because it is one of the three certainties in life: (1) death, (2) taxes, and (3) an annual stewardship series (Coming in November!). All joking aside, death is unavoidable; and without a faithful understanding of how to think of it and even prepare for it, it can be a scary thing. Even with a faithful understanding of it, it can still be a scary thing; so let’s talk about it.

Do not be afraid! This is commanded by God 365 times in the Bible, but many people are still living in fear. Fear began when Adam and Eve first sinned in the garden and has now become a ruling “god” for so many who are under its grip.
