Facets of Forgiveness
Facets of Forgiveness - Far
We all have a sin problem. While many try to run or hide from it, somehow sin always finds us again. In Scripture we read that the sins of Israel were removed from them by a scapegoat, sent into the wilderness to carry their sins far away, never to be seen again. By Christ’s redemptive work on the cross as the ultimate scapegoat, our sins are also carried far away. As God forgives us and carries our sins far, far away, He pulls us ever closer to Him.
