Blessed are the Persecuted

Matthew 5:10-12

Outline

Today Pastor John completes our Be-Attittudes series. The beatitudes are remarkable sentences spoken by Jesus that certainly move us to rethink what it means to be blessed, happy, and fulfilled. Today’s message is no different. As we will discover, Christian persecution is still a reality all around the world. Today we’re asking some personal questions, “Am I willing to suffer for the cause of Christ? Have I experienced the blessing that comes from being ‘like’ Jesus?”

Series Information

Our focus is on Jesus’ introductory words in the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5:1-12). The Be-Attitudes are attitudes, ways of thinking, that are contrary to popular opinion or natural ways of thinking.
