Ash Wednesday 2023
Ash Wednesday - Live Broken, and Love the Broken
Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent, which originated in the early Christian Church. As a sign of repentance, Christians would sprinkle ashes on his or her head. In the Bible, ashes were always associated with humility and mortality, fasting and remorse. Tonight we remember how Christians have done this as a remembrance of sins for hundreds of years and the price Christ paid by His death on a cross for our forgiveness and grace.
