Who will benefit from the Stomp Out Addiction Walk?

What is the cost?
This is a FREE event! Bring your friends and family! Optional t-shirts can be ordered at registration for $15 each. T-shirts will not be available for purchase on walk day.
Do I need to register my child?
Yes, please register everyone so we can plan for the event. Optional kids' t-shirts can be ordered at registration for $15 each. T-shirts will not be available for purchase on walk day.
What if I want to take part but can't walk?
Register! Even if you're not walking, there are lots of ways you can participate. Enjoy live music, visit the booths, and check out the fun family-friendly activities.
Where does the walk begin and end?
The walk begins at Faith Oakville's parking lot (6101 Telegraph Road). We will continue onto the Cliff Cave Trail for 1 mile, turn around, and end at Faith.
Where do I park?
Park at Faith Oakville. Enter from Telegraph or Erb Roads, and Faith parking attendants will direct you.
What time should I arrive?
The event begins at 9 am. You can pick up your t-shirt, enjoy activities on the parking lot, and get ready to walk.
Will food or drink be available?
Refreshments will be provided.
What if it rains?
The SOA Walk will be held rain or shine. If the weather is not conducive to an outdoor event, activities will be moved indoors. Additional information will be communicated via email, faithoakville.org, the FaithOakville app, and Facebook no later than 7 am on the day of the walk, October 12.
Will Faith have Sunday worship that morning?
We will not have worship during our normal times, so we can put all our time and talents into this community mission effort.
Will resources and information be available regarding next steps?
Yes! PreventEd will be available to answer questions and provide resources to both individuals and families. Other groups will also be represented on the day of the walk.
