Faith Staff

I was born in 1994 on Camp Pendleton Marine Corps Base in beautiful San Diego, CA, where my late father (Col. Jim Dumont) was stationed and my sister, Jaclyn, was born. My younger brother, Jace, was born in the LA suburb of Moorpark. Our mother (Gerry) is from Perth, Australia, and met our father when he was overseas on a naval carrier that ported in Fremantle. In 1996 my father went into the Reserves, and we moved back to the Metro East.

My siblings and I were raised Catholic and went to Catholic school through 8th grade. We attended the closest Christian high school in the area, Metro East Lutheran in Edwardsville, IL. In high school, I met Jeremy Ackerman, and one Sunday morning after a sleepover I attended Faith with his family. It was certainly an enjoyable and different experience than I was used to.

After high school, I obtained a B.S. in Accounting and MBA from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. I have worked in commercial lending in downtown Clayton my entire professional career. I am on the Board of another charitable organization and enjoy staying active whether it be running, biking, lifting, or playing competitive sports.

I’ve always kept a strong faith in God, but I did not attend church much in college. In May of 2020 on vacation with the Ackerman’s, I discovered Faith’s services were available to watch online. After watching virtually for some time, I connected with Pastor Chris who introduced me to a couple of other members of the Faith family, and I became an official member shortly thereafter. I am honored and excited by the opportunity to join the Board, and I look forward to contributing to Faith’s mission.
