Faith Staff

I was born and raised in Oakville, and my parents are long-time members of Faith Oakville. I was baptized and confirmed at Faith. I remember worshipping on Saturday nights and going to Sunday school at the old church location at 5911 Telegraph Rd. After high school, I stopped going to church for several years. It wasn't until I was about 24 that I felt the pull and desire to start coming back. I started watching online sermons and then I was hooked. I listened to Pastor John's and Tim Keller's sermons on the way to and from work almost every day, and I felt my faith starting to really grow. I couldn't get enough of God's word and teaching. I was in a car accident in 2013 that could have been very serious, but I felt that God protected me. I was not injured at all, even though my truck was totaled. At the moment of the accident, I felt an overwhelming sense of peace that could only have come from God.

My wife Ashley and I married at Faith in 2014, and we were blessed to have a wonderful marriage mentor couple who continue to help our relationship and faith grow to this day. Shortly after getting married, we started serving on the hospitality team, and we joined a Life Group led by our mentor couple. Our Life Group's focus is serving at Lemay Child & Family Center where we have done a variety of projects over the years. Serving the children and families at the annual Santa Breakfast is always a special treat.

Ashley and I have two kids, Jackson and Lily. I've worked in IT since I was 17, and I am the IT Manager at Perimeter Solutions. In my free time, I enjoy kayaking, playing hockey, and flying in powered parachutes.
