Faith Staff

After a 25-year career in the business world, God Called me to enroll in Concordia Seminary - St. Louis. Actually, it was more of a shove than a gentle push.

After finishing seminary in June of 1999, I was placed at St. Paul Lutheran Church - Trenton, MI and served there for almost 15 years. I still love that congregation and miss the relationships God blessed me with.

In April of 2014, I accepted a Call to Concordia University - Ann Arbor as Senior Director of Donor Relations. I was considered a “front line Gift Officer” and my role was to raise money. I enjoyed success and the many, many relationships that I built in that time. In fact, some of the most spiritual moments in my ministry have occurred in donor’s kitchens, living rooms, and board rooms.

In December of 2017, I received a call to Concordia Seminary - St. Louis to serve as Executive Director, Seminary Support. This fancy title simply meant I led the fundraising efforts at the seminary.

My wife and I agreed that she would make the decision where we would worship when we moved to St. Louis. In January 2018, while living on the Seminary campus, I decided to worship at Faith.  The preaching and music are excellent and the Spirit of God reigns in Oakville. In March, when we officially moved to St. Louis, we both attended Sunday worship, and my wife, Laurel, said, “We’ve found our church.”

My role at Faith is to grow and manage our Endowment Fund. I look forward to the many relationships where God will be present as we talk about the future ministry at Faith and how we can see ministry continue long after God has called us home.
