I was born in South City Saint Louis to Tony and Jennifer Boos. My father was a missionary to Bosnian Muslims in the Saint Louis area at the time and I grew up around people of different languages and religions. My parents homeschooled me along with my six siblings and taught us about the faith we had through the mission we did together.
In 2006, my family moved to Sterling Heights Michigan near Detroit. In my new church home, I served in children’s ministry and on the worship team and went on several mission trips. In 2014 I met my future wife Shelby. We got married in 2017 and moved to Saint Louis to attend Missouri Baptist University.
I began attending and serving at Faith Oakville in 2017 in youth and worship ministries. In the summer of 2019, I started a summer internship at Faith that turned into a part-time role as Mission Coordinator. My love for ministry and passion for mission led me to consider the Specific Ministry Pastor program at Concordia seminary. When I graduated from Missouri Baptist in 2020, I started at the seminary that fall and was called as a vicar to Faith. As an ordained Specific Ministry Pastor, I am called to serve at Faith primarily in missions as I finish several years of classes at the seminary part-time.
In 2020 God blessed us with three beautiful boys. Reed through birth and Zander and Jordan through the gift of adoption. We were blessed with another boy, Wilder, in 2021 and are very thankful for the support of our church family. Outside of ministry, I enjoy playing soccer, gallivanting around the city with my family to try new foods, visiting the zoo and Magic House, and experiencing anything else fun we find. We love attending and serving at this church together and are excited about what God has in store for us in Saint Louis.
