MY Story

I was born in St. Louis, MO, and have lived here almost all of my life, except from 1989 – 1993 when my husband and I followed his job to Albuquerque, New Mexico. We loved that experience. But, we are blessed to have most of our family in Missouri, and that is ultimately why we returned. I became a follower of Christ as a young child, thanks to the Lord and my parents. I don’t really remember ever not knowing Him.

I met my husband, Al, during college. We got married in 1989 and have two sons, Michael and Matthew. We have been members of Faith Lutheran Church since 1997 when we moved to the Oakville area. At Faith, I learned what it means to have a ‘personal relationship’ with the Lord, something that I had never truly experienced before. I have served at Faith in the Nursery, Kids Ministry, Faith Communities, and other areas when called to do so. I love serving alongside kids, and have been seeing life and truth through them for over a decade. I am passionate about words, images, and all forms of communication. I earned a degree in this area at St. Louis University in 1988. What a joy to use what I learned then for the glory of God now.
