Faith Story

I was born in Fresno, California while my father, John Brunette, was on vicarage. I was 2 years old when he accepted a pastoral call to Faith Lutheran Church in St. Louis, MO. My mom, dad, and I moved to the Midwest and have lived here ever since. We’ve been at Faith for more than 26 years! I have served at church in various areas over the years, and have been able to use my passion for the arts while doing so.

As a pastor’s kid, I was raised in a Christian home and grew up spending the majority of my time at church with my three younger sisters. We would frequently wander the empty hallways and explore (usually for leftover Sunday School candy) while my dad finished work. Faith has always been my second home, and the people here have always been family to me.

I met my husband Chris in 2011, and we got married in 2015. We both share a love for the Lord, photography, and everything creative. Chris has encouraged me to grow in my personal relationship with God and I have developed a deeper love and understanding of the Lord and His people.

I was hired at Faith - Oakville in 2013 as the graphic designer in Communications and am blessed to be part of the staff!
