Sharing God's Blessings with others

The opportunities to serve at Faith are as varied as the people who serve! Do you enjoy spending time with kids? Are you the fix-it person in your family? Do you prefer working with numbers? Are you a gifted singer? We have serving opportunities in all of these areas and more. Why serve? Because it’s a great way to meet other people at Faith. But most importantly, because God wants us to serve out of joy for our love in Him!

Oakville Serve Application

Faith Family Assistance Team

The heart of this ministry comes from Galatians 6:2, which calls the body of Christ to carry each other’s burdens. The Faith Family Assistance Team was developed to assist our brothers and sisters in Christ who are specifically within our church family and may not have access to resources or the physical ability to meet their needs. Opportunities may vary but could include yard work, simple house projects, providing a meal, or simply offering emotional support.

Worship/Tech Arts

There are endless opportunities in Worship Arts ministry, including the Praise Band and Media Team. For a more artistic and unique way to serve, try Social Media Tech, Worship Environment, Praise Band, or Photography Teams.

HOSPITALITY

Want to help ensure visitors have a positive worship experience? Join the Hospitality Team. Greet people before worship, help with seating, set out food or drinks, and more.

KIDS

If you have a passion for helping kids grow closer to Jesus, you can serve with Faith Kids on Sunday mornings. We also have plenty of opportunities for you to serve at Faith's annual Vacation Bible School. Whether you enjoy leading crafts, helping with games, or singing and dancing, there are opportunities for everyone!

STUDENTS

If you have a passion for serving with middle or high school students, then Student Ministry is the place for you. Landing Team Members help students in grades 6 - 12 connect with Jesus and each other. We always have a need for photographers, videographers, and student praise team members.

YOUNG ADULTS

Have a passion for serving with young adults, ages 18 – 30, and helping them seek the extraordinary life found in Jesus? Serve opportunities include mission trips, social media, and helping people create meaningful connections with God, their peers, and their neighbors at young adult events.

ADMINISTRATION

If you enjoy answering phones, directing calls, and answering questions, serving on the Office Receptionist Team is perfect for you. We’re always looking for office receptionists who can serve one morning or afternoon a week or fill in as their schedule allows.

FINANCE

On Sunday mornings, Counting Team Members are responsible for accurate tracking of member contributions collected during the services and reporting among Faith's various funds and campaigns.

PRAYER TEAM

Prayer warriors needed! Provide prayer support for worship services, ministries, and our Faith family’s needs following a death, birth, illness, or other time of crisis or celebration.

Funeral Luncheons and Meal Help

Love to cook or help others in times of need? On this team, you would provide a dish for a funeral luncheon or serve at the luncheon helping prep platters, set-up, serve, and clean-up. There may also be opportunities to provide a restaurant/grocery gift card or possibly a cooked meal for someone in need within our Faith body.

FACILITIES

Are you the person everyone calls to lend a helping hand around the house? Whether you’re an expert painter, dynamite carpenter, green-thumbed landscaper, or wiz with a wrench Faith’s Facilities Team needs you. Projects are often seasonal, or as needed. Opportunities include parking team for special events, landscaping team, set up and tear down for special events, snow removal, light cleaning, painting, repair or improvement projects, and miscellaneous building projects.

MEDICAL TEAM

Faith is always looking for emergency medical technicians, doctors, registered nurses, and others trained in first aid and CPR to join the Medical Team.
