I was born in St. Louis, MO, and have lived here almost all of my life. I was baptized as a baby and, thanks to God, my parents, and my grandparents, have always known about Jesus. I don’t really remember ever not knowing Him.
I earned a degree in communications and marketing at St. Louis University in 1988. I met my wonderful husband, Al, during welcome week in our freshman year of college. We got married in 1989 and moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico, for his job, and loved that experience. But we are blessed to have most of our family in one place, and so that is why we eventually returned to Saint Louis. We have two adult sons, Michael and Matthew, and have been members of Faith Oakville since 1997, when we moved back. At Faith, I learned what it means to have a personal relationship with God, something I had never truly experienced before, and I’m so grateful. I have served at Faith in a variety of ways: Nursery, Kids Ministry, hospitality, and leading discipleship groups. I love words, images, and all forms of communication. What a joy to use them for the glory of God and growing His kingdom.
