I am the fifth kid out of eight - four older sisters and three younger brothers. I was born in Memphis, Tennessee, but my parents were missionaries for 20+ years, moving us to Budapest, Hungary, when I was 4 years old. We then moved to Kyiv, Ukraine, when I was 11, where I stayed till I graduated high school. I loved being a missionary kid and feel blessed for the opportunity to travel and be exposed to various cultures. It definitely gave me a broader perspective of the world, and although it was really hard at times, it made me cling to Jesus and my faith - He has been and always will be the one person that never changes.
My parents’ faith and love for Jesus made a huge impact on me growing up. After I graduated from high school, I took a year off for an internship with a ministry in Kansas City. I started college the following year, where I met my husband, Ben. I received an undergraduate degree in social work and went on to get my MSW from Saint Louis University, later obtaining my clinical license in social work. Ben and I moved to St. Louis in 2017 and quickly claimed it as home. We love singing, playing, and recording music together and hanging out with our kids.
